What We do

Stone experts at Hadspen Quarry

in Somerset and Dorset

Established in the 1990s, Hadspen Quarry has built a name for quality, excellence and reliability across the UK. We are a family-run business established by Dave York and Rob Comer. Hadspen Quarry operates two quarries, side by side producing the finest stone for walling, masonry, flagstones, cladding and block stone.

Committed to keeping the business within the family, both Dave and Rob’s wives, Steph and Lucy, run the office side of things. We take pride in producing premium quality stone products, our in-depth knowledge of the trade and our exemplary customer service. Whether you are undertaking a DIY project or you own a construction company looking for a reputable stone supplier, give us a call. We offer a wide range of architectural stone masonry products for customers in Somerset, Dorset, London and across the UK.

Keeping it green, Our Way

Sourced from our Hadspen quarry

  • Our stones do not travel more than 20 miles from the quarry to our processing site
  • We use recycled water in our saws
  • Our processing site has a rainwater harvesting system
  • We recycle waste materials, and products that cannot be recycled are put back into the ground as backfill
  • We send invoices, quotes and other correspondence via email, thus limiting the use of paper
  • We combine deliveries to reduce multiple trips, and to some extent the use of fossil fuels
